Tristarc Stakes 2013 – Final Field & Barrier Draw

The final field and barrier draw has been released for the Group 2 Tristarc Stakes, which will run at Caulfield Racecourse this Saturday October 19, 2013.

A total of 20 horses have accepted for the 2013 Tristarc Stakes final field, including Xanadu.

Xanadu has won six of her 19 race starts and has earned more than $450,000 in prize money during her horse racing career.

The Elusive City mare won her most recent start in the Group 1 Windsor Park Plate at Hastings, in New Zealand, by almost two lengths on September 21.

Xanadu is trained at Matamata by Ken Kelso and will be having her first Australian start for the spring when she runs in the 2013 Tristarc Stakes.

The five-year-old has drawn barrier 14 for the 2013 Tristarc Stakes and will be written by jockey Michael Coleman in the race.

Red Tracer is also included in the 2013 Tristarc Stakes final field and barrier draw acceptances.

The Dane Shadow mare has drawn barrier nine for the race and will be ridden by jockey Nash Rawiller.

Red Tracer has won 12 of her 30 race starts and has earned more than 1.63 million in prize money during her career.

Fire Up Fifi and Steps In Time are also amongst the 2013 Tristarc Stakes final field and barrier draw.
